I installed WatchOS 8 on my Apple Watch Series 6 on Monday night. The battery is draining super quick now. For example in drained 20% while going out to dinner and back over 1.5 hours.

Have resolved the issue with Apple support .
Backed up the phone via iTunes > recovered the phone to factory default (while phone connected to iTunes ,volume up then volume down then long press on shutdown till cable connected an pc was shown > select recovery and follow the process ) > restore from iTunes backup > pair the watch again .
this week was 8.0.8 (19R354)
Well that's great. In Europe we have 8.0.1 Tha latest 😀
Worse after 8.0.1 update. Ridiculous that you should have to unpair or restore completely to fix Apple’s garbage update issue.
My Series 4 has a massive battery drain since WatchOS 8.1. After just 2 hours of "use" during my workday the battery was draind from 78% to 13%...the watch is nearly useless since the update.
The watch got totally useless with the update. After 2:03 hours the 78% loaded battery drained to 0%. For the moment Apple totally broke my 2,5-year-old watch.
