Pairing watch to phone
New iPhone does not pair with Apple Watch.
Tried several x's, taking hours. Have kept old device which is iPhone 6 plus.
What do I do to get the watch off my old device and onto the new one?

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.
Go to Find iPhone.
Click All Devices at the top of the screen.
Click your Apple Watch.
Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.
