ITunes Match

Hi, I subscribe to Apple Music and canceled ITunes Match a long time ago. I have a very old iPad 3 and thought I need to resubscribe to iTunes Match. I did so but it appears I no longer need it as Apple Music synchs my music to my old iPad. Is this so ?

iTunes Match I subscribed to iTunes Match for a few years to ensure that I could add music to my iPad and iPhone that I had burned from CDs onto my MacAir. All of that burned content is now on my devices and I no longer use that method to purchase music - I purchase tracks from the iTunes Store. Do I need to continue my iTunes Match subscription? I used to have iTunes Match many years ago, and then stopped paying for it. If I resubscribe will my old music show up again? Hi There. I was an original iPod / original iTunes user. Back in the day when they introduced iTunes Match, I signed up and all of my music in my library was copied / mirrored to the cloud (had uploaded so many CDs to iTunes). I did that for a few years and was able to access all of it, including playlists. Then I just stopped paying for it and lost access to my iTunes Match library and only had access to songs that I had purchased on Apple. QUESTION: I really want to recover some of those old tunes and I wonder if I pay the $24.99 subscription for iTunes Match, can I get access to all that old music again? Thanks!

iTunes Match I have an iPad and an iPhone and I currently belong to Apple music which I can play on both device’s. I also have automatically subscribed to iTunes Match for years. . Do I need to continue subscribing to I tunes match?

Hi,

Apple music subscription includes iTunes Match features. A separate subscription is not required.
