I bought my watch this august and this week it all sudden won't keep a charge. I let it charge at night and put it on at 6:30am and by 3pm it's dead. I had a series 3 before this new one and it was great never had issues. I even tried a new Apple Watch charger cause I was using my old one but it died again today fast

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.
