MageSafe Wallet Name Change?

The name assigned to your MagSafe Wallet is the name provided on your contact card in case it is lost.

To change and update the name assigned to your MagSafe Wallet, you will first need to detach the MagSafe Wallet from your iPhone. Next, remove the MagSafe Wallet from your list of Devices in the 'Find My' app. You will then need to change your name under Contacts > My Card > Edit > update your First and Last name with the name you prefer to see assigned to your MagSafe Wallet. Finally, attach the MagSafe wallet to your iPhone and follow the onscreen instructions to set up the device. The The MagSafe Wallet will be added to your 'Find My' app with its updated name.

Actually I did try changing the contact with no luck. Apple support says it pulls the name from your Apple ID on your phone. When I changed my Apple ID name and re-sync it with the wallet it finally change the name to what I wanted.

Looks like you would need to remove it then add it again.

Any other ideas on how to change a previously named magesafe wallet? Removing the adding it back didn’t work.

Same issue. Any solution?
