com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49229

I have the same problem as https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251298444


That ticket has 138 "I have this question too".


But nevertheless it was closed with nothing other than "format your drive, have a great day"....


I had this issue after dd-ing hard a partition from another mac. Others apparently when trying to mount a system partition while setting up the system.


Is dd'ing a hard drive not acceptable anymore to Apple? How then do you duplicate a (possibly bootable) partition to another machine
