Whether you find the answer helpful or not, it IS factual. There is NO supported way to go backwards in iOS. There has never been a way to do so. If the update caused an issue with a 3rd party app, you need to address that with the developer of the app. Apple provides the API for all updates to the app developers, long before an iOS update is publicly released. It is up to the app developer to ensure their app can work with the new iOS. Apple doesn't own 3rd party apps, nor do they or can they do anything with the code inside the app.

If you are not happy with these facts, complain to Apple. This is a user to user only forum. We don't design iOS. Nor can we provide what you want.

Feedback to Apple goes here --> Feedback - iPhone - Apple

But complaining to Apple likely won't help with this 3rd party app which you are having an issue with. You need to address that with the app developer. This link explains how to reach an app developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

You are NOT speaking with Apple. So your request is only being read by other users.

You can provide feedback to Apple, but in all these years, Apple has NEVER provided a path backward. Still, this is how to get your message to Apple, which they will at least read, but not respond --> https://www.apple.com/feedback/

Personally, I have iOS 15.1.1 and iPadOS 15.1 running on many devices, with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

What an unhelpful answer. This update broke at least one very popular subscription model paid app. Update rollback is functionally offered by every other OS out there. Instead of smugly ‘recommending’ frankly unhelpful (but equally smug) answers, perhaps Apple would like to spend some time working on introducing much needed rollback functionality instead. Or even just properly regression testing their new releases.

If it is not to late you can go back. I have done it many times

i back up my phone in iCloud, however before you download a new update, back up on a computer also.

if you don’t like the new system, or it’s not ready yet,

and crashes apps, you must erase the phone and reinstall the computer backup. It will have the last system you saved and is it to restore.

remember this next time.
