Whether you find the answer helpful or not, it IS factual. There is NO supported way to go backwards in iOS. There has never been a way to do so. If the update caused an issue with a 3rd party app, you need to address that with the developer of the app. Apple provides the API for all updates to the app developers, long before an iOS update is publicly released. It is up to the app developer to ensure their app can work with the new iOS. Apple doesn't own 3rd party apps, nor do they or can they do anything with the code inside the app.
If you are not happy with these facts, complain to Apple. This is a user to user only forum. We don't design iOS. Nor can we provide what you want.

I hate this kind of answer from Apple as much as I hate the update!
As numerous other members have posted, none of us here work for Apple. This is a User-To-User Forum, and None of us work for Apple.
Couldn't tell that. My reply was to lobsterghost1 cuz it sounded just like an Apple answer.
I agree with Lawrence. We might be helpful, but we're definitely not official.

I would agree with that logic. That seems reasonable.
I literally am a couple weeks away from entirely dropping iPhones just because of this update. iOS 15 is awful. My iPhone XR is so slow, my camera doesn’t work, my apps crash, and it is so laggy that at times I can’t even use my phone. Terrible.
Again, telling me what should be is pointless. Tell Apple. You clearly don't understand you are NOT speaking with Apple here. This is a user to user ONLY forum. Several times throughout this thread a link has been provided for people to provide feedback to Apple. Look just ONE post above your post and there it is.
