Focus not included on MacOS devices

Focus was advertised as a feature that would allow the do-not-disturb settings to be shared across all Apple devices. I was excited about this as I often use do-not-disturb while working but sometimes forget to also set it on my phone. So I'm disappointed to see that Focus only works on iOS and not on MacOS.

Is there a plan to include Focus in MacOS?
