Audio stops when screen shuts off

I just updated to iOS 15 today and every time I shut my phone off the music stops. Or really I can’t hear the music playing but the song is still playing. Only with my screen off. If I let the screen shut off by itself audio stops. I tried restarting it and force quitting the app

Maybe someone have the same problem, or that's a bug. That problem is observed in YouTube Music and Apple Music.

iPhone ear speaker not working after update The earpiece speaker on my IPhone 13 Pro stopped working after I recently updated my phone to the new IOS 16.0.02. There have been not settings changes, no physical damage and YES, I’ve already tried every single ‘fixing sound issues’ article on Apple Support along with YouTube. None of those things worked. I noticed several other forums and commenters who faced the same problem. Has anyone found a solution to this yet? Apple seems to be ignoring or avoiding the issue entirely [Re-Titled by Moderator]

And if it was just the Music app ... sure. But mine is having issues with an App that is not the Music app. Just stops playing.

Purchased music remained in my inventory as well as my saved albums. But reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue with Music stopping when locked.

Same problem here with the Audacy radio app. Worked fine until several days ago. Now when the screen “sleeps” so does the app.

Same for me but then the issue resurfaced after installing 15.3.1. Ridiculous!

TuneIn radio or any other radio app doesn't work in background, or if the screen locks. That's very frustrating!!!
