Unable to set up/print HP printer with Macbook Air

My wifes Macbook Air had been able to use airprint with my HP printer. Now it will not communicate with it. I have deleted and tried to re-install in many times. Her laptop sees the HP printer on the WiFi network, defaults to "setting up AirPrint on the Office Jet"....Teh says "unable to verify printer on your network". I have sharing on the printer. The printer works with air print from my iMac, and our iphones. I've restarted her laptop multiple times and still won't connec to printer. It's not the printer but something on her laptop. Her laptop gets on the internet using WiFi without any problem at all. What could it be?
