Magic Mouse stopped tracking

Hi,

I've had my mouse for a couple of years and it worked perfectly on any surface. Then it stopped working. I googled it and followed all the suggestions on blowing air into it and cleaning with a cotton bud. Neither have made any difference. I even went into the office and tried it on the regional surface it worked on. Again no luck. I got a new laptop a week ago and that made no difference either. It's connected and if I repeatedly use exaggerated movements it will move a bit. But not where I want to. My question is... do I give up or are there other fixes I can try?

Thanks

Sam
