Clicking links defaults to Home page!
With the new Big Sur update (11.6), clicking on links on pages and sites—including links in Mail—will not open to the appropriate place; instead, it's defaulting to the Home (Apple) page.

Quit all open apps using Command Q or the from the dropdown.
Reboot your computer and try again.
