Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities JBSCP,

We understand you're not seeing the print icon where you expect when viewing your iCloud email.

Try using a keyboard shortcut to print by pressing the "Control+P" keys together on your keyboard to bring up the print dialog.

If you need more help, providing additional information can increase your chances of getting a helpful response. For example, are you accessing your iCloud email from a web browser?

We hope this helps!

Hi mikeg28806,

There are MANY people having this same issue including myself. It seems to have all started after the recent update. I am not sure about others, but I have been accessing iCloud through my browser on my Windows Surface Pro (system requirements exceeded) and my husband is on a Mac only a few months old which is also having these same issues:

The issues include:

  1. unable to expand/collapse folders (including sub-folders)
  2. a new folder CAN be created, however there is no option as to where it can be placed - the computer chooses the placement (no option to drag & drop)
  3. unable to open an individual email in a new window
  4. unable to print or create a PDF of one email

I have personally tried everything already suggested that I've seen and not having any luck. For example, when pressing the "Control+P" keys together as you suggested above, this allows the "screen" to be printed, but not the individual email.

I need to print and collate reports (either hard copy or soft copy PDF depending on what it is about) with full email threads. This was previously achieved by opening an email in a separate/new window and printing/saving to PDF from there. Now there is no way of doing this!

I have also been using the iCloud email from the web browser with no luck.

I have also reviewed the iCloud for Windows User Manual which described the process of expanding/collapsing folders by clicking on the arrows.... there are NO ARROWS anymore! The instruction book/manual has not been updated!

My husband is using a Mac and is having the same problems as me on my Windows Surface Pro

All of the functions described were previously available.

Can you please log in to your own apple iCloud webmail and see what we are talking about, try the functions, and then identify (hopefully) a solution for us. We would all be most grateful.

PS: I have submitted my own question with ALL relevant information including screenshots so you can see exactly what the issue is.

"Control+P" keys together does NOT print the email content. I am accessing icloud from my browser, Chrome, on the Windows 10 OS, on an HP desktop computer. The print icon is not there anymore. It was the ONLY way that an email could be printed other than taking screen shots and printing those. The print icon was removed in a recent icloud update. Please restore this basic functionality.
