Trade-In

Thinking about trading in my iPhone 7 Plus. Will I get credit for payment for my new phone or will I get a gift card? Also, can I ship out my current phone after I set up my new phone?

I want to trade my iPad. Do I have to receive a gift card or can I receive money. You can choose to trade it in when you buy the new one or you can ship it after.
