What to Try:

Try removing the device, and then adding it while in park. Elsewsie, view the driver's manual for instructions on doing so.

"I am also having this problem !??!? Just brought the iPhone 13 and it won’t connect to my car using an aux. Had no issues before I upgraded even brought a new aux cable thinking that was the problem. !!! please please help apple."

What to Try:

See if you can remove this as a trusted device (if applicable) from your car, and then add it back.

"I don’t have Apple car play, and all the options for trying to fix the connectivity is for Apple car play. I am trying to connect my phone via USB or Bluetooth and neither work. Using that USB my music pops up but nothing plays it stays paused."

Same here! Just purchased my iphone 13 pro max can't connect to blue tooth, pair. It's even worse since I just did the upgrade to 15.1 yesterday. I was let to believe that would solve the issue - wrong! The update made it worse - my vehicle can't even detect the phone. At least before the upgrade I could connect the only issue was when I turned off the engine the connection got lost. And yes everyone since the upgrade I know have no connection what so ever. Truly- unacceptable! Not to mention it's also very dangerous - Apple you really need to solve this critical issue and make this a priority. For the time being you should have a warning label and let buyers now that the new iphone will not work or pair with vehicles. Or if you want to purchase this phone make sure you purchase a new vehicle as well.

I had the problem with mi pro max 13. I was able to connect it via Bluetooth to my car as always, but I wasn’t able to to listen to anything. No Pandora, Spotify, iHeart, nothing. In fact, I wasn’t even able to connect to the internet, or use Siri. But as soon as I turn my car off, my phone was good with the internet and network. I turned the wifi off for a couple of minutes and turn it back on. And it worked perfectly. I hope this work for you too.

Just tried this out and IT WORKED!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

1. Check your connection to your CarPlay stereo:

– If you have a wired connection, try connecting again with a different USB cable to a different USB port if you have one.

– If you have a wireless connection, make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled under Settings > Wi-Fi and Settings > Bluetooth.

2. If CarPlay doesn’t activate automatically, look for the CarPlay logo on your car’s display.

3. Restart your iPhone and your car.

4. Make sure that Siri is on.

5. If your iPhone isn’t detected by CarPlay, make sure that CarPlay isn’t restricted. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap Allowed Apps and make sure that CarPlay is enabled.

6. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car, then tap Forget This Car. Then set up CarPlay again.

7. Make sure that your CarPlay stereo is using the latest firmware from the car manufacturer. Check your car’s manual for more information.
