AirPrint not woring on HP printer from MacBook Air

My wifes Macbook Air had been able to use airprint with my HP printer. Now it will not communicate with it. I have deleted and tried to re-install in many times. Her laptop sees the HP printer on the WiFi network, defaults to "setting up AirPrint on the Office Jet" and AiPrint....Then says "unable to verify printer on your network". I have sharing on the printer. The printer works with air print from my iMac, and our iphones. I've restarted her laptop multiple times as well as the printer and still won't connect to the printer. It's not the printer but something on her laptop. Her laptop gets on the internet using WiFi without any problem at all. What could it be?

Hi,

Any information about the printer model?

If necessary, reset the printing system and (re-)add the printer as an AirPrint printer.

Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem - Apple Support

Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support

If all settings are OK, you may want to try the following power-cycling sequence: Power off the router, the printer, both computers, and all other devices (iPhones, et cetera). Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the computers. Finally, power on all other devices.

DIdn't work. Deleted all and reset. I just hooked up her new Brother MFC-J995DW and her laptop saw it, added AirPrint and it works perfectly using our house WiFi. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 works perfectly with my iMac and 3 iPhones. Her laptop just keeps giving the warning above. "unable to verify printer on your network"then unable to connect toHP DOED4C Bonjour multifuntion" I was able to add the Fax part of the HP printer. As I mentioned, our iPhones and my iMac connect and print to the HP printer without an issue
