cannot sign in to apple tv+ on my Sony smart tv

I just downloaded the Apple TV Pro app on my smart tv. When I try to log in, my apple tv password is not accepted. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Your Apple ID account credentials will be verified online.

Check that Apple’s remote servers are accessible (no overly restricted firewall settings).
Check your TV privacy settings, for what apps may do on your device. See discussions.apple.com/thread/252691729.
Check the case-sensitivity of the entered password.
