Why does my Apple TV bring up ACD1000 when trying to record

AppleTVs are only streaming devices.

They can’t “record.”

Any apparent “recording” capability they DO possess is provided thru an app with control over the streams.

Can you possibly provide a bit more detail of your setup and what you’re trying to do?
