Red dot 🔴 in mail app

I just got the new I phone 13 and when I set it up it said I had 10 emails unread I have already read them but that red dot is not disappearing

IPhone 12 Pro email issues I have an iphone 12 Pro and the software is 15.2.1. On my email, the new ones never have a blue dot beside them showing they are new and therefore I miss any new emails. Is there anything to fix or change in settings? I've compared to my others iphones but can't see any difference. Thank you

iPad only showing unread emails Hi, my ipad is only showing unread emails. As soon as I read them they vanish. I've read lots of things online about this but everything I try doesn't work. I've been in email settings and changed everything but nothing worked. The little circle at bottom of page with three lines just goes between "filtered by: " and "unread" neither displays read emails. Is it a fault with my ipad or is there a setting somewear I've missed. I can get them on my sons phone or by searching all mailboxes. But this is just so frustrating, please help me !!!!!

Let your new phone index all its data, which can take a day, then see if the unread dot remains.
