Black Screen (2018 MacBook Pro 16)

Screen went black and can't get it back. MBP boots up with black screen, I can log into it using my password but the screen stays black. (Updated to Big Sur about two weeks ago.)

Cant seem to get it to start up in safe mode.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Reset SMC and NVRAM, and try again.

Maybe use an external display as a workaround, if you can get that to display without having the main display working.
