silence keypad when dialing

I just purchased the 13 pro and when I dial the keypad makes an obnoxiously loud beep for each keystroke. My iPhone 6 did not do this. I went into sounds and it says keyboard clicks are off but this is not a click it's a loud beep.

My keyboard clicks on my iphone 11 cannot be heard but all other audio sounds can be heard. The ringer is on and the do not disturb is off. Why do my keyboard clicks remain silent ?e My keyboard clicks on my iPhone 11 are turned on in Sounds and Haptics. My ringer volume is all the way up. My do not disturb is off. Yet my keyboard clicks are not audible. Why ?

New IOS 16 haptic noise on long press when doing a long press on the screen for example in messages when reacting to a text, or on Home Screen when holding down an app till it pops out the secondary features, my iPhone 12 Pro now makes a clicking sound even when the side sound switch is in silent mode. I’ve looked on haptic sound options but don’t see how to make the adjustment. This is a new noise that wasn’t present in iOS 15. Help!

The keyboard cannot be silenced when dialing. But you may adjust the volume control, and that may help.

volume control does not seem to have any effect if you are talking about the volume buttons on the side of the phone.
