13 pro max lock screen is not responding when I touch the screen. I have to press the right side button to turn the screen on. I have to restart the phone and it will goes back to normal. this happened twice today so far.

There are a few ways to wake your iPhone, including Tap to Wake. You can learn more here: Wake and unlock iPhone.
If you go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch, then turn off and back on Tap to Wake, does the issue continue?

I have found that if the phone has been placed face down for some time, this is when the issue arises for me!
Not sure if this is the case for others?
If I leave it turned back over for a few minutes it then works as normal, accelerometer issue?
