Apple wallet on iPhone

How can CVS card be added to Apple wallet? CVS Xtra care card scans in to PayPay’s new “wallet” function but does not seem to work in Apple wallet card edit feature. Is this blocked by Apple or by CVS?

Apple Wallet I can’t add a non credit type card to Apple Wallet. I’m trying to enter it as a pass. I opened Wallet, and then edit passes, then scan code. The camera opens, but nothing happens. The bar code doesn’t scan. I can take a picture of the card, but I can enter it into wallet.

Is it possible to add my CVS Extra Care Card to my Apple Wallet? I would like to add my CVS Extra Care Card to my Apple Wallet so I don't have to carry it around separately. It looks like it's just a bar code that would need to be copied, but I can't figure out how to do it. Is this possible? If it's not possible with Apple Wallet, is there is another app that could store my CVS card and other loyalty program cards, like Stop & Shop? Thanks.
