Mail Icon Toolbar

Hello,

In the Safari tool bar there is an Icon that looks like an envelope (mail).

When choosing that Icon I find it opens Brave Browser. I do have Chrome and Brave on my Mac which I use only for teleconferencing with my hospital. (Cardiologist).

They do not support Safari.

The question is can I change the Icon to open my Mac mail (or any other) instead of Brave?

Thank you..

The envelope icon is used to compose automatically an e-mail containing the currently viewed page in Safari. It's an icon shortcut of the Email this page command available in Safari's File -> Share menu.

Check in Mail app -> Preferences -> General -> if Default email reader is set to Mail. Probably, right now, is set to Brave Browser instead on your Mac and this is the reason why it launches Brave Browser when the Email this page command is invoked.
