blue screen in shut down

done updating when i shut down the screen was blue? is the update not compatible with the macos big sur?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities and for sharing these details. You had mentioned that you saw your screen turn blue while shutting down your Mac. To confirm, was this a one time occurrence or are you seeing this blue screen appear every time you shut down your Mac?

Just in you're seeing this blue screen appear each time, you can try to perform a couple of resets and also test this issue in safe mode:

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Keep in mind that the SMC and NVRAM resets only work with Macs that have an Intel processor. If these steps do not help resolve your issue, you might want to try reinstalling your macOS:
