I can’t send sms messages

SMS is a carrier feature. Contact your cellular carrier.

I would agree if we were only talking about the iPhone. I have a MBP and iPad that will not send SMS either and they are not connected to my T-Mobile account. This is happening more and more and is very inconvenient and frustrating. Please provide a better solution. Thanx!

You switched your phone over? Can you please clarify what you mean?

Macs and iPads can't send SMS messages unless they are linked to an iPhone that can. So, you need to get the issue resolved on your iPhone. And, only your carrier can fix that. Call TMobile and be very persistent.

Once you have the phone working properly, you may need to reset text message forwarding. See here:
