Cannot send emails from company email

I can send and receive on my iPhone for my Yahoo address. But-I can ONLY receive mail on my company account. I cannot send mail. The internet provider says it is an Apple problem--all the settings are correct. By the way-my iPad can send and receive on all accounts.

Excuse to get rid of you.

Says: TLS Negotiation
failed, the certificate doesn't match the host.

All cert issues are for your IT to resolve it. That said, I suggest you verify for sure your iPhone uses same SMTP settings as your iPad for the account in questions, and that your iPhone is reporting correct date and time (go to Settings > General > Date & Time, and turn off/on Set Automatically). Test also on another connection (different Wi-Fi or on Mobile Data).


If still the same, contact back your IT and don't take that 'must be your phone' excuse…
