AirPod Pro not detecting right ear

My right airpod pro won't do automatic ear detection or double-tap for Siri by itself. It's fully charged. I can hear out of it however, it does not recognize it’s in my ear. The left one is working properly.

Hey there, brianlanci!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! We understand you are experiencing some issues with your right AirPod not working for automatic ear detection.

To start, try making sure that automatic ear detection is enabled in the settings for your AirPods. If it is enabled already, try disabling it and re-enabling it. You can see how to check for that in this article to Change the settings of your AirPods and AirPods Pro.

You can also try the steps here for How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro.

We hope this information helps. Keep us updated on how it goes!
