Constant iOS Safari pop up - ‘Expired JWT Token’??

About five days ago, I started getting an ‘Expired JWT Token’ pop up notification on every page I load in Safari (iOS). I have attached a screenshot. This pop up occurs for every page when I load or reload it. As near as I can tell, the issue occurred when I downloaded the ‘Let’s Roam’ app from the App Store and then tried to sign in to it using Facebook (had never used the app before). The app hung so I force quit it and restarted, then created an account using email. Since that time, the pop up occurs constantly. It can be dismissed, but recurs if I load a new page. I have tried researching JWT tokens and not been able to figure out how to fix this. I have: reset all data on Safari, restarted Safari after force quitting it, shut off and turned on Tracking in the ‘Privacy’ tab and restarted my iPhone with no effect. I have also deleted and reinstalled the ‘Let’s Roam’ app as well. I am running iOS15 on an iPhone 12 ProMax. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! I had deleted the app and reinstalled and then deleted the app again but the 'expired JWT Token' dialogue keeps coming up (I did force quit Safari too). Private Relay was not on, but I also tried turning it on with no improvement...shutting it off after also did not prevent the popup, unfortunately. I haven't been able to find any other solutions so any further help would be appreciated!

Hello Sarojm,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you receive a token error when visiting webpages in Safari. We'll do our best to assist.

It sounds like this is related to the third-party app called 'Let's Roam' since it only occurred after you installed this app. We'd recommend instead of reinstalling it to delete it and test it out: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If you're using a VPN or security software, we'd recommend to disable them and restart the device. As these may be causing issues browsing.

Do you happen to be using iCloud Private Relay? Learn more about that here: About iCloud Private Relay

If so, try to disable it temporarily to test it out: Turn on iCloud Private Relay on iPhone

Hoping to hear back, take care.
