Delete matched songs from Apple Music
Hello guys I'd really appreciate you helping me out on the following issue:
- Back when Apple Music didn't support hi-res, I downloaded hi-res files, converted them to ALAC and imported them on the Music app
- I recently noticed many of them were matched and downsampled to 256kbps
- Now that Apple Music supports hi-res files, I wanted to get rid of the 256kbps ones. I signed out of Apple Music, deleted the files that were matched whilst re-adding them in hi-res on my iPhone.
- After 5 hours + of work, I log back into Apple Music, the library updates and re-downloads ALL the songs which I had deleted + the ones I had been adding on my phone. I am now filled with low quality duplicates which are undistinguishable if not by clicking "get info" and checking the quality one by one.
I am beyond frustrated, can somebody please help me? Deleting duplicates would be an option , but how do I filter out the low quality files from the apple music lossless ones?
Thank you in advance!
