How Does Ones Setup Arlo Pro 3 cameras with HomeKit?

Even though the Arlo Pro 3 2K Security Camera is listed as a device that works with HomeKit. I can't find a single User Guide or post that shows how this can be done. I don't want to use the Netscape/Arlo cloud service as I'd much rather use Apple's iCloud.

The Arlo Pro 3 cameras I have (purchased from Costco) don't have any o f the HomeKit Setup Codes printed anywhere. There is no label that appears on the camera (to which I can hold my iPhone near).

So, anyone have any clues, hints, suggestions, guides, or the like to get these cameras connected to HomeKit?

I bought the Arlo 3 system a year ago actually unaware that it was (at the time) the only HomeKit/Apple approved camera. It was 2 cameras and a hub. There was no mention of it working with Apple or Siri or HomeKit anywhere on the box and it didnt have HomeKit QR codes. They also didnt include even a quick start guide. I was on their site reading what was supposed to be for my device but was the manual for old ones that didnt apply anymore.

and spent two days trying to pair it. My iPhone and the web interface always got an error. I happened to have an old Android right there and I gave it a whirl. It was up and running within 30 seconds.

Once it was active, I I really like how it came to my watch, etc, and I loved the magnetic mounting system but I dont usually keep an old inactive phone on me, and I would've needed it if my wifi went out or whatever else that required it be re-set up

I spent 2 hours on the phone with them unable to convince the customer support rep. that this was an issue that makes the camera non-functional. it felt apparent that she wasn't at all familiar with the technology hesrself so she just didnt comprehend the problem or understand the basic functions of the app or the phone. After 2 hours of having her make me reset it over and over again, the call disconnected and of course she didnt call me back. tore tore

I took it back to the store, as it didnt seem like this was going to be resolved anytime soon.

I did just buy the Arlo Essential (to spy on my dog when im not here.) and it doesnt come with a hub, so it doesn't work with HomeKit or have internal memory storage. Evidently, you can sync it to your Apple TV via your iPad or HomePod which serve as a hub. I dont have an iPad anymore, dont want a HomePod, so I cant say anything other than in my experience, that thing was not worth the hassle
