iOS 15 bluetooth indicator missing from iPhone 7+ home screen?
Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't normally keep bluetooth on so this was helpful in all previous iOS versions. My battery isn't the freshest anymore.

There's no BT indicator unless you have a device connected. There's also no real reason to turn it off.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Battery Drain and oth… - Apple Community
The reason your battery is draining quickly is because it's so old. At 73%, your battery is considered no longer fit for use. A battery with a capacity of less than 80% will have a noticeable effect on phone performance.
Hello ne_291,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like you're not seeing your Bluetooth button or indicator on your device after updating the iOS. We'd be happy to help.
We see that you're coming to us from Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch.
You can access Bluetooth settings from the Settings app and quickly from Control Center.
Here's some more information on how to Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in Control Center.
Have a nice day.
Hi jdo,
The issue I'm having is that iOS up until 15.0, had an indicator at the top right of the screen when bluetooth was on.
iOS 15 still has the cell and wifi indicators on the left and the arrow when location is being used on the right but bluetooth is gone. When I use Bt (bluetooth) headphones, I only see the headphone and it's battery icon. When Bt is on and not connected, there's no indication anymore.
I use Find. My (I have kids) and I'm asked to turn Bt on for improved operation. I forget to turn it off. Also how does my bluetooth being on help me track my kids in another part of the city?
I will at some point change phones or batteries (73%) but not right now.
I've searched and can't find an answer for this issue. It's not a widget or control panel issue for me.
Thanks for reaching out,
N
There was a Bt indicator displayed whenever Bt was on prior to iOS 15. I don't need it on all the time as i only use it for a couple of hours per day- that's my reason. The Cell and WiFi are still here in iOS 15.
I'll look and see if there's any new info in the link.
Yes, I understand about the age of the battery. Not knowing Bt was left on for no reason isn't helpful. I do have "optimized charging" turned on. It does also say "your battery is currently supporting normal peak performance"
Maybe this is because it stays on for Find My but it's not explained anywhere I can find.
Thanks for your input.

So I had a look at that link. It dates from 2017.
In 2017, there was an indicator- maybe this used .03mw lighting the "B" icon..?
Just for hypotheticals, he mentions how much power Bt uses and if your iPhone 8 battery were ONLY powering Bt, it would run for 3 months. I'd think other things would be using the battery as it's not standalone.
If this were updated to go with iOS 15, that would be helpful.
Thanks
