Did you replace the screen, or have it replaced by someone other than Apple? That’s the most common reason for losing True Tone (and also automatic brightness).

You might find this article helpful in regards to what phones support truetone, and what might disable it.


Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support



You can use True Tone with these devices: iPhone 8 and later,

In addition to that, some accessibility settings will disable truetone.

And if you have replaced your screen at a third-party repair shop not affiliated with apple it might also be disabled.
