HomeKit Thread Devices 'Updating'

Hi,

I am running a mixture of Philips Hue and Nanoleaf Essentials bulbs & light strips in my home, with the Nanoleaf bulbs connected using Thread (I have two HomePod Minis and two of the latest Apple TV 4ks). When I open the Home app, all the Hue bulbs show their status straight away, but all the Nanoleaf bulbs show 'Updating' for various lengths of time - sometimes barely a second, other times quite a few seconds. Using Siri to control the Nanoleaf bulbs results in the bulb not responding at all, or there being a significant delay.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour, or know of a solution? I thought Thread was meant to be ultra responsive, but am seriously considering replacing them with Hue devices.

I also have an Eve Weather device, which is also connected via Thread, and this does not appear to have any issues responding with information straight away.

Hi gogomilo77,

We'd like to help guide you in the best direction for helping you find a solution. We recommend starting with making sure the network has the Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points. If the issue remains, we suggest making sure your devices are up to date, and lastly removing the devices, and setting them back up. Let us know if this helps.
