Finder sidebar favourites - dropbox icon keeps appearing at the top

Did you try deleeting the Folder from the sidebar, than add it back in.

Control click on the Folder in the side bar:

For your third party app you can verify the software is up to date.

You can Quit Dropbox, relaunch it and see if it presents you with an update.

My Dropbox folder is at the top of Favorites, I never tried to move it.

I have the same issue. I'm assuming it's an issue with the latest Dropbox app.

I have my dropbox folders positioning further down, but now they always move back to the top of Favorites whenever I log back in.
