Mac Mini M1-Big Sur- keyboard shortcuts unresponsive in Chrome, MS Edge.

Hi,

I tried duplicating a tab in the above browsers and they were unresponsive.

The unique 'duplicate tab' shortcut for the Safari browser works fine.

I have a new Mac Mini M1 16GB.

A magic keyboard.

A magic mouse 2.

And am running a fresh copy Big Sur.

Is there something that can be toggled that the new Mac Mini doesn't need in order to fix the problem?
