can't import AIFF files

Trying to import AIFF file sent by a friend via WeTransfer. Using the import function, it just disappears when I try to import it. Using drag and drop into the Track area, it shows a green + like it is going to take it, but the file disappears again.

I tried opening the file in "Music" then importing into Logic Pro X, again, no result.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Did you try opening the Media Browser, locating (all files ) and hit "Add"). If any conversion is required this is the way to go. If that fails...

  • Does the file have any DRM protection?
  • Try open in QuickTime and export to a new name/format and try importing the new file as noted above.

Hope this helps.
