Using car Wifi

I got 2021 vehicle in December and for some unknown reason my iPhone 12 does not have internet when I’m connected to the cars Wifi. I have to disconnect Wifi to research everything; restaurant phone or address, pulling up an email, listening to music on Spotify, Apple Music, or Pandora and to use navigation apps such as Waze or Google maps. It occurs even when I’m connected through CarPlay.

I want to use the cars Wifi as it’s eating up my cellular data quickly. Note: my husband’s Android does not have this issue. PLEASE help! I’ve been through all the settings steps I can think of 😫

Are you seeing any error messages?
Has your iPhone connected to this Wi-Fi network before?
Have you tried connecting your iPhone to different Wi-Fi network?

Thank you I’ll take a look at those articles however my iPhone doesn’t have an issue connecting to the Wifi. The issue is that I lose Internet capability after connecting.

I do get an error that says “I have no internet” and sometimes I see under the Wifi name I’m connecting on say “recommended settings for wifi” but when I click on it to read it can’t open it because it needs internet connection.
