how do i get rid of mdm on a refurbished phone

My son gave me his old iphone 7 which we bought from a refurb co that has since been taken over - I cannot get into it as MDM keeps coming up for a Company in America called Gartner Inc - what do I do?

Hello,

Try this:

Steps:
Open "Settings" App and then got to "General Section"
Scroll down all the way and then tap on "Device Management"
Now tap on "MDM Profile"
Now tap on "Remove Management"

If it is not successful:

Try to return the phone and get your money back..
