iCloud file recovery

Hi, is there a way to retrieve files formerly stored within a folder on iCloud? I was able to capture one individually. Then I went to download the entire folder and I received a prompt saying I didn't have enough space to download them all. Then all the files except for the one I downloaded disappeared. Is there a way to retrieve those? I don't know how I did it or why I was able to get one of them. Thank you!

If you need to access an iCloud Drive file that you deleted within the last 30 days, you can get it back from the Recently Deleted folder in the Files app, or on iCloud.com. After 30 days, your files are removed from Recently Deleted. See the section on "Recover deleted files" in the document 'Access and manage files in your iCloud Drive'

If you still have problems:

Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
