As manager of our HOA website I need to be able to test passwords but I can't
turn off my own password manger either in Safari, Firefox or keychain access.
I automatically gain access even after a re-start - preventing me from testing
the credentials of others. In Safari Prefs the site appears to have no stored pw's -
same in Keychain Access. How can I do this? Thank you very much, Tom

You can set up the account with any name you want. Call it "test" if you like.

Create another user on your Mac to use for testing purposes. Or use the Guest feature.
So glad it helped!
Having a separate user account is also sometimes useful for troubleshooting computer problems.
