iPadOS 15 bug?

When I opened my iPad after install, I noticed that the large app icons I was previously using "shrunk". I reset "use large app icons" in the home screen but it made no difference. I also did a hard reboot to see if that would fix the issue. Is anyone else having this issue? Is it a bug in the software? Is there a usable workaround?

Apple will you please take note and fix?
