My Apple TV box is flashing rapidly and the screen is black. TV is working and all wires are connected. Tried unplugging and plugging back in but no joy. Can anyone advise how to resolve? Thanks.

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support
If you see a continuously flashing status light, that indicates a failure to start up properly. First try a cold restart (disconnect from power for a minute or two). If that doesn’t improve it, then the system software may need to be re-installed. How that is done, depends on the exact model Apple TV.
I think it’s the 4K 1st generation model.
