HomeKit automation for locking August at specified time not working

Hi, I set a HomeKit automation to lock my August lock at a specified time everyday but it does not do anything. When I click “test automation” this also does nothing.

Any ideas?

Personal Automation on waking up I am slowly getting my head around automations, but cannot figure this one out, or even if it is possible. This is what I want it to do. When I turn off my morning alarm. Turn on bathroom light Turn on downstairs light in kitchen. I have both of the above set up as a scene in Homekit. I have set up this to work, but I have identified some extra things that I would like to happen. This only needs to happen if I am 'at home' The lights only need to come on if it is before sunrise. This is what I have set up for the first part, but its the extra bits I cannot figure. Personal Automation Alarm When - is stopped - alarms - any Add action Search - Home Control Our Home Set scenes and accessories Run 'good morning scene' All help is appreciated. Trevor

no home app notification in CarPlay iOS 14 I recently got a smart lock for my front door that is HomeKit compatible. When I leave home or return home I get a notification on my iPhone asking if I want to run the automations that lock/unlock the door. These don't show up in CarPlay, so I have to fumble with the iPhone to confirm that I want the automation to run. I've checked settings and CarPlay notifications are turned on. Can't find any other setting that would affect this, maybe I'm missing something? or is this expected behavior?
