Blue dot in Safari

I've started seeing a slightly offscreen blue dot in the upper left-hand corner when using Safari on my Iphone XS and I find it annoying. Someone on Reddit claims it's the text selection indicator but I'm not sure if that's correct. Anyhow, I'd like to get rid of it!

Never mind... It actually disappeared when I restarted Safari! As simple as that.
