camera in LG5 disappeared

Like Browndog's question of last year, I have an LG 5k, and it was using the camera, but yesterday suddenly has defaulted back to Macbook Pro camera. How do I set it back to the LG monitor camera?

How can I use continuity camera with my Mac studio when it isn't connected to a webcam to begin with? I connect my mac studio to a monitor that doesn't have a camera. So when using any video call related app the camera is immediately off. Zoom for example there is no option to "change camera". There is no camera connected to begin with so I have no drop down menu to select my iPhone in zoom or meets. It works with my macbook, but my macbook has a webcam. I want to use this continuity camera with my desktop because it doesn't have a webcam to begin with.

Camera Not Listed In Sec. & Priv ! My son is using a 15" 2010 MacBook Pro A1286, OS 10.13.6. My understanding is that 10.13.6 is the highest upgrade it can handle. The camera has been working fine, until now. I don't know what has changed but the camera no longer works "...not connected." In System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Privacy, Camera isn't an available option in the left side column. Where'd it go? I have unlocked S&P to make changes yet it still isn't an available option. My son has been using this computer to Zoom and FaceTime for the past 2 years and never had this happen. He would like to continue Ft'ing and Zooming. What's the solution? Dawn

For anyone else with the same problem: change your Thunderbolt from one port to another. Suddenly, the camera reappears in apps! You can even switch back to the original port and it works there again. Pffft? What's that about?? Anyway — problem solved, thanks to my bro-in-law.
