How to edit wrapped text around an image without deleting the image itself?
Hi!
I'm creating a workbook in Pages. On each page of the workbook, I placed a small image with a short wrapped paragraph giving an overview of that page's contents. The rough draft is finished, and I'm now in the proofread and edit phase. The problem is, when I highlight any of the text in that paragraph, it also highlights the image. So if I delete the text or try to type over it, it also deletes the image. The result is that I have to hold down the delete key and sit and wait for the text to be removed one character at a time. This makes it impossible to create a template where I can put Lorem Ipsum text as a placeholder while I get my images lined up the way I want.
So my question is: Is there a way to select wrapped text for editing without selecting, and subsequently deleting, the image the text is wrapped around? I feel like I should be able to highlight a portion of text I want to type over without it affecting the image.
This is probably the simplest thing in the world, but I can't find any solution on my own. My search results have only yielded instructions on how to wrap text, which I already know how to do. Unless maybe I don't know after all, and that's why I'm having trouble?
Thanks in advance for any help!
