Battery Health Issue

On Oct 31 st my iphone 12 will become one year but now it's battery health is 86% without even playing games and other heavy usage.

If it reduces to 80% within one year even befor 500 charge cycles will I get a battery replacement

Please help me out from these issue

Apple should replace your battery if it falls below 80% within the original one-year warranty period. This will be subject to the engineer's discretion and any battery tests to ensure this is not due to your usage.


It is very unlikely that your battery health will fall below 80% in this period.

A 1 - 2% per month reduction in Battery Health is normal and expected. Your phone is showing what would be normal health for a 1 year old phone.


As mentioned above, Apple would ONLY consider replacing the battery under warranty IF Battery health had dipped to 80% or less within the first year. This is not your situation and since your current Battery Health after a year would be considered normal and within acceptable range, there is nothing wrong with you battery.


There is no way to stop Battery Health from declining. The fact is Battery Health declines with every full cycle charge. This is what batteries do. ALL BATTERIES.
