I am not sure what I did, but the photos that I took on my iPhone now show up on my Google photos. I would rather not have these photos in my Google photos drive. So how do I fix it so that my IPhone photos are not online in my Google photos?

You probably have the Google Drive app on your iPhone. You need to uncheck backing up photos in that app's settings.
Open Google Drive app ➔ Settings ➔ Back up ➔ Photos & Videos: Set this to OFF.
